ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Wilson B. Santiago, founder and major proprietor of WICON Contractors, started his career in the construction business as a project draftsman in Brazil. In 1986, Mr. Santiago immigrated to Canada and started working as an assistant-carpenter in Toronto. After 6 months of practice and studies of the local construction codes, he ventured into self-employed-carpentry, starting to use the acronym WICON.

After three years of working in that region, he moved to Vancouver in search of new business opportunities and challenges, as well as to enjoy better weather conditions.

Is a commercial and residential contracting company servicing the Vancouver, British Columbia area. We offer consultation services and communicate with our clients throughout every stage of the building project. We specialize in new construction as well as renovation. We finish houses both inside and outside, and are able to undertake jobs in areas as diverse as room additions, carpentry and room renovation.
